The purpose of the store is to provide financial support for the museum experince by providing merchandise that will provide tangible reminders for our institution and its exhibits. In the furthering of this purpose our merchandise has been largely selected with a southwesern motif reminiscent of both our existing tribal units and of the pre-historic in habitants of our immediate area as well as the present day in habitants.

The jewlery counter has one case that exclusively displays the product of New Mexico native peoples of the Navaho. The other jewlery displayed is largely southwestern in design.

In the pottery section we have reproduction of the prehistoric Mimbres Indian pottery by a local artist as well as many items from the potters Mata Ortiz, Mexico. These potters use the ancient methods to produce their art works.

Other items featured include many books about the area and its people as well as unique rocks from the area. Kachinas, t-shirts and other pottery items can also be obtained here.
